Our dedicated server platofrms are built using only the highest-standard, fully-supported hardware components available. We exclusively utilize Dell PowerEdge servers to provide a wide range of both quality and value to our customers. Your server is monitored 24/7/365 with automated reboot and recovery customized to your specifications (you may also initiate a reboot manually via a web-browser).

*The setup fees and monthly rates above are based on a prepaid contract term of 3 months and do not include operating system licensing fees (see below). For month-to-month (no contract) pricing a one-time setup fee of $100 per server and a surcharge of 15% applies to the above monthly rates. Save more with a long term contract! The above rates are discounted a further 10% with a 6 month prepaid contract and 20% with a 12 month prepaid contract.
Operating Systems
You may choose either Linux or Microsoft Windows as your server's operating system. Linux is provided as no additional charge, however there is an additional monthly charge of $25 per processor for Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Web Edition, $45 per processor for Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Standard Edition, and $55 per processor for Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Enterprise Edition.
Monitoring
Fault monitoring and automated server recovery is included on TCP ports 25 (SMTP), 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS) and 1352 (Lotus Notes) from 3 remote locations... California (US), Texas (US) and Amsterdam (Netherlands). Fault notification is available via e-mail, pager, SMS and telephone (toll charges may apply). Our monitoring capability is triple redundant as we overlap 3 remote monitoring systems to protect and monitor our network and your servers. Keeping your server up and running is our greatest concern! Additional port monitoring is available at $5 per month for each additional port.
Firewall Configuration
All servers include firewall configuration of up to 10 ports. Additional port configuration is available with a $10 one-time setup for each additional port.
Data Backup Service
Reliable hourly or daily network-based backup is available. Please contact us for details.
IBM Licensing
Servers do not include a Domino Server license. However, if your company has 1000 or fewer employees you qualify for Domino Express which does not require a server license unless you need to authenticate unlimited users using a Web browser. If you do not need to authenticate users using a Web browser you only need to purchase a Collaboration Express client license for each user accessing the server. If you do need to authenticate unlimited users you will need to purchase a Utility Server Express license which costs approximately US$2,500. If your company has more than 1000 employees you should utilize IBM Passport Advantage to obtain licenses.
